Six companies based in Oeiras have just been declared Top Employers Portugal 2021, and are thus recognised for the best human resources practices.
The organisations concerned are Angelini Pharma, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Sandoz (Novartis group), SAP and WhiteStar Solutions. All work from Oeiras, some being based in the city’s business and technology parks.
Altogether, the six organisations correspond to almost a third of the total of 21 entities that in Portugal earned this quality seal from the Top Employers Institute, the main global certifier specialised in recognising the excellence of people management policies and practices.
Through the Certification Programme, participating companies can be validated, certified and recognised by that institute as reference employers in their markets.
The certification programme, developed on the basis of a global methodology, assesses transversal areas such as: people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, well-being, diversity and inclusion, among others.
Certification may be awarded by country, at regional and at global level. In the case of organisations with a presence in Oeiras, Novartis, Sandoz and SAP received certification both at national, European and global levels. Angelini Pharma and AstraZeneca received the distinction at national and European level, while WhiteStar Asset Solutions was recognised at national level.
